To make an appointment to see Dr Berman, please contact the practice on 03 9561 5155 Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.
You will be sent an information pack, which will include a medical questionnaire. Please complete this questionnaire and bring it to your first visit.
First visit
- At the initial consultation Dr Berman will make an assessment of your vein problem. This includes history and examination and a Doppler Ultrasound examination, unless previously (last 6 months) performed. Specialist Vein Care incorporates a dedicated Unit, Independent Vascular Ultrasound where a dedicated Vascular Sonographer performs this examination
- You will be given an expanded information document thoroughly explaining the treatment of your veins
- The exact nature of your particular vein problem will be explained, and the treatment protocol discussed
- Ample time is provided to answer any questions that may arise
- A written costing will then be provided and discussed
- With your permission, a letter detailing your consult and treatment plan will then be sent to your doctor.
